OUT-OF-HOURS EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION PROCEDURES

The clinic and office are open from 8.30 A.M. until 5.00 P.M. Monday to Friday. A 24 hour emergency service is provided.
To obtain emergency service it is important that the number:
02 4588 5200 ALWAYS be dialled FIRST, as other numbers may NOT be manned.
If the duty Vet is at the clinic this number will be answered directly. Otherwise a recording will instruct you in the next step. Listen carefully to the entire message as two alternatives may be given.
Our radio paging service is VERY reliable and you may rest assured that we will receive a detailed message IMMEDIATELY, wherever we may be. However, in the unlikely event that you have received no response to an emergency call within 10 minutes please repeat the call. Don't forget to give your telephone number and HAVE IT MANNED for our return call. PLEASE GIVE FULL DETAILS OF THE NATURE OF THE EMERGENCY. You are in addition welcome to try our carphones at any time, but as they are often unmanned they should not be relied upon. The numbers are:
